Conference bridges

A conference bridge is a form of remote meeting using a business phone system. Conference bridges allow employees to dial into virtual meetings from a phone, anywhere in the world. Compared to a standard three-way call feature, conference bridges allow for a virtually unlimited number of participants, depending on what your phone system supports. Conference bridging is a core collaboration tool for companies with a large geographic footprint.

A conference call is a call between three or more callers. Businesses VoIP services providers allow for multi-way calling with three or more callers. Some providers, such as Nextiva using NextOS, even allow up to fifteen callers at a time without a conference bridge. But the more callers you have, the more complicated it gets. That’s why you need a conference bridge to make it easy for all parties involved to connect. A conference bridge can refer to the software, hardware, and/or the phone number used to make a large conference call.
