Analog Lines vs VOIP lines

 Analog Lines:

1. Old technology that use analog signal over the copper wire.
2. More stable and use 48 volts that can travel long distance.
3. Need one pair or two wires to transmit one line signal.
4. Need multiple line phonesystem to handle line rollover feature.
5. May take 2 to 5 days to move lines from one location to another

VOIP lines:

1. New technology that use digital signal through internet
2. Need stable internet connection and wiring structure.
3. Multiple phones and share same internet line.
4. One phone can handle multiple lines without any phonesystem onsite.
5. User can move lines instantly to new location , just need internet.
